Join IntraFish on 14 December as we bring together a panel of experts from around the seafood, aquaculture and investing sectors to discuss the massive sea change to the sustainable blue economy. Pressure is building for companies to shift practices from lenders, investors and buyers, but new opportunities are emerging across the industry. Our event will explore where these opportunities lie, who is financing them, and what the new blue economy means for seafood.

The webinar will be comprised of two panels:

Panel 1: Financing the blue economy

Who will fuel the new blue economy? The pressure to move toward more sustainable aquaculture and fisheries investments isn't coming just from consumers and retail buyers - lenders are increasingly demanding sustainability be built into companies' business practices. But opportunities are emerging for sustainbility-linked bonds and other incentives to make investments in sustainable operations.

Panel 2: Investors: ESG's big payoff

Is there a trade off between sustainability and profitability? Not in the minds of these experts. Private equity, venture funds and investment experts discuss where those opportunities lie, and how investors and companies - large and small - can attract capital and make returns on moving their companies into a more sustainable future.
