Stefan Broddi Gudjonsson

Stefan who was born in 1971 joined Arion Bank in the beginning of 2012 and has been head of Arion Bank Research since 2015. Stefan has twenty years of experience in working in the Icelandic financial sector. Prior to joining Arion Bank he held positions in asset management, securities brokerage, equity research and business journalism. Stefan holds BA degree in Political Science.

Birgir Brynjolfsson is a Partner and founding member of Antarctica Advisors, the leading M&A investment bank focused exclusively on the Global Seafood Industry. Mr. Brynjolfsson has over 15 years of professional experience in Seafood and Financial Services in Europe and North America. Prior to forming Antarctica Advisors, Mr. Brynjolfsson served as an Advisor at Islandsbanki’s subsidiary in New York, where he was responsible for advisory to a diverse range of corporations in the Seafood Industry in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Throughout his professional career, Mr. Brynjolfsson has served as an advisor in multiple functions within the banking industry, including Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Kaupthing Bank in Iceland. Mr. Brynjolfsson holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Iceland and an MBA degree in Global Finance from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix, Arizona.

Grétar was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Laxar fiskeldi ehf. in 2017. Before joining Laxar fiskeldi he held various positions in the financial industry in Iceland. From 2004 until 2010 he worked at Kaupthing and Arionbanki and at Audur Capital/Virding from 2010-2017.

Gudmundur Gislason founded Ice Fish Farm and has been Active Executive Chairman since 2012 and responsible for overall strategy. Holds BS.c from University of Iceland and MBA from University of Reykjavik in 2008. He was Previously, 1989-2007 the marketing director of B&L, one of the largest car importer in Iceland. He thereafter founded first data center in Iceland 2009. Current board member of the organization for fish farmers at Iceland.

Rögnvaldur Gudmundsson

Rognvaldur Gudmundsson is Project Manager at AkvaDesign AS in Norway and CEO of AkvaFuture ehf, AkvaDesign's affiliate in Iceland. His responsibilities include communication and marketing for the parent company and managing applications for fish farming in closed sea cages in Iceland. Rognvaldur graduated with MBA degree from the University of Iceland 2011. In his studies, he specialized in implementing sustainability into corporate strategic planning, and change management. In addition to the MBA degree, he holds a Diploma in business administration from the University of Iceland and has studied Fisheries Science at the University of Akureyri. Rognvaldur has an extensive experience in various fields such as seafood (sales, production and logistics); banking (retail and investment). Rognvaldur is a native Icelander and has substantial international experience, having lived and worked in USA (New Jersey and Massachusetts) and now in Norway.
 
Páll Hardarson

Pall Hardarson is the President of Nasdaq Iceland. He heads Icelandic Markets, which includes Nasdaq‘s exchange and central securities depository operations in Iceland. Mr. Hardarson has extensive experience in the economic and exchange business in Iceland. Prior to starting with Nasdaq in 2002, he acted as an economic consultant at the Icelandic National Economic Institute. Pall was the Head of Operations and Deputy CEO of Nasdaq Iceland from 2002-2011, but took over as the President of Nasdaq Iceland in 2011. Mr. Hardarson is a member of Iceland‘s Committee on Corporate Governance.

Hallvard Muri (b. 1960), assumed the position as CEO of AKVA group ASA in November 2016. Prior to joining AKVA group, he had more than 20 years of senior management experience in various Aker group companies from different industries as well as fisheries and aquaculture related sectors, including CEO of Aker BioMarine AS, CEO of Aker Material Handling/Constructor Group and 8 years in Seattle, US as CFO and General Manager of American Seafoods Group. Mr. Muri holds an MsC (Siviløkonom) from BI/Norwegian Business School. He is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Asker, Norway.

Sigurdur Olason is Marel's Director of Business Development. Olason worked in Marel’s product development department between 2001 and 2006. He started his current position in May 2014. Before rejoining Marel, Olason was Director of Business Development with Samherji, one of Iceland’s leading seafood companies.

Mr. Tyssøy has over 30 years of experience from the investment industry I Norway. He worked at DnB as a stock broker until 1995 and then for 5 years in Vesta/Skandia Insurance as portfolio manager/CIO. He was one of the founders at Holberg Forvaltning in year 2000 , which is an independent asset manager. Have since 2012, together with colleague Jann Molnes worked on mapping the global listed seafood industry and markets. In February 2015 we launched Holberg Triton, a global mutual fund which do invest in listed seafood and seafood related companies.
