Henrik Fang Luo is Technical Manager in BioMar Tongwei Biotech, and he is in charge of building up technical and quality excellence of BioMar group's joint venture in China. Working closely with customers towards various species and farming models as well as suppliers at both domestic and international levels, Henrik is driving BioMar's development of high performing aquafeed products and adaptive solutions for the Chinese market. Through his engagement in aquaculture industry especially with salmon and trout while living and working in Norway, Denmark, Sweden and China during the past 15 years, Henrik has gained thorough understanding of aquaculture value chain, and he has been creating values and realizing potentials when cooperating with value chain partners and teams with multicultural backgrounds. He is passionate about finding innovative and sustainable aquaculture solutions by facilitating communications and collaborations between Chinese firms and international peers. Henrik holds a bachelor in Biotechnology and a master in Feed Technology. He started his career in Norwegian salmon and trout farming company Sjøtroll Havbruk which was then a subsidiary of BioMar. Prior to joining BioMar again in 2017, Henrik took various roles in sales, supply chain and project management in international trading company Ekpac and aquaculture equipment and technology company Mørenot Aquaculture.

He is a Norwegian National from an Island called Froya in Norway. His salmon industry experience comes from SalMar-Norway. He invented the World’s First Norwegian Salmon ATM. He is the Managing Director of Norwegian Salmon Pte Ltd and responsible for all operations in Singapore.
 
Morten Lyng

Morten Lyng was born in Måløy-Norway (Maaloey in english) in 1986. Måløy is a small city with 3300 residents, but one of the country's most important fishing ports. He grew up in a family enterprise where fishing has been a passion. After high school, army and further education in Bergen in offshore, he realized he is a Fisherman and joined the family business. His father Tore Lyng is a Captain, he started a fishing company in 1988 and built it to one of the biggest in Norway. Starting with a small boat and quota to build one of the world's most modern fishing boats, Torbas, with maximum quota. His father also owns big share in companies like Selected Seafood founded in 2007, which is trading mostly salmon and Selected Prime Fish founded in 2018, which is trading whitefish. His two older brothers also work as Captain. His sister lives in Bergen and getting education about Fish Health and Safety. Everyone in the family has «Passion for Seafood». Mr Lyng is CEO of the Lyng Seafood AS. They export premium Norwegian Seafood to the world and are the official supplier of Salmon Products for Norwegian Salmon ATMs in Singapore.

She was born and raised in London but has spent periods living and working abroad, most recently returning from a four year spell in China. She holds a Bachelor's degree in English and European literature from the University of Essex.

Management executive with solid international experience ranging from sales, to marketing and operations, working for Chilean leading companies in the food industry. In his most recent steps, he worked with Agrosuper for just under 10 years, where he led different areas including seafood sales, running Los Fiordos operations in USA market. By the end of last year, Nicolas accepted the challenge of joining New World Currents, moving to China as CEO for the company, to run this one of a kind joint venture formed by 5 well known Chilean farmers, Australis, Blumar, Camanchaca, Marine Farm and Yadran.

Zhizhou Wang (William), CEO of the Weihai Blue Ocean Aquaculture Co., Ltd, graduated from the University of Western Australia, master of offshore engineering. He worked in Furgo company (Australia) which is the top five in the field of engineering consulting companies. William is a member of the Golden Key International Honorary Society and Australian Engineer Association. Over the past two years, he led the team to get several government projects and received 36 million yuan subsidies in total for offshore aquaculture development. And now, he has set up a business relationship with Canadian enterprise. He is working on a salmon farming project called Neptune Ranch, which is located 60 km offshore from Weihai. The water in this area is pristine and the temperature is low which is suitable for the salmon growth. The Neptune Ranch is assist of a central feeding platform and eight offshore farming cages. The cages are equipped with advanced aquaculture equipment such as subsea feeding, subsea monitoring, etc, which can be operated remotely. Even in harsh sea conditions, the daily routine can be automatically completed. The farming volume reaches 1.04 million m3, and the annual output can reach 20k tons at full production. At present, pilot farming has been completed, and the new production cage is under construction.
