Denise Avery-Reinhoudt

Clearwater Seafoods
Denise is the Director, Global HR Center of Expertise, at Clearwater Seafoods, North America’s largest vertically integrated harvester, processor, and distributor of premium shellfish. Denise joined Clearwater in 2016 and is responsible for managing Clearwater's HR Center of Expertise. Prior to joining Clearwater, Denise led the HRIT Center of Excellence for Sobeys Inc., one of Canada’s largest national grocery retailers. A trusted advisor, influencer and facilitator of change possessing experience in large corporate environments with an understanding of how to align people strategies to build, drive, and support the business to the next level of performance. Denise’s background and experience has focused on HR project management, HR technology and process improvement. Denise received her Diploma in Advanced Human Resources from Queen’s University and her Certificate in Information Technology from Saint Mary’s University. She is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources and a Certified Change Management Professional. Denise recently completed the Fisheries Council of Canada’s inaugural Future Leaders’ Canada Program.

Kristine joined Aker BioMarine in 2011. She is responsible for increasing Aker BioMarine’s transparency, connecting the day-to-day operations with the company’s strategy and transforming the business to meet increasing expectations from customers, employees and other stakeholders. Prior to joining Aker BioMarine, Kristine held several senior consulting positions at PwC and Accenture. Kristine has a Master’s degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and University of New Orleans.

Rachel Mutter is an editor at IntraFish Media and has been reporting on the seafood industry since 2002. She was born and raised in London but has spent periods living and working abroad, most recently returning from a four year spell in China. She holds a Bachelor's degree in English and European literature from the University of Essex.

Kathleen Offman Mathisen

Kathleen O. Mathisen has a long experience in the International Offshore Oil and Gas Industry. She has worked with HR for more than 18 years, resulting in a broad and extensive experience within the field of HR. Kathleen O. Mathisen’s core skills include organizational development and transformation processes, and she has several years of proactive, results-oriented, diversified corporate experience with an emphasis in human resources. She has a number of management courses from UIB, BI and NHH and is presently in the process of taking an MBA in Leadership and Sustainability at the University of Cumbria in UK. In December 2013 she was awarded “Sunnivaprisen”, named after Bergen’s patron St. Sunniva.
