Henrik Aarestrup

Henrik Aarestrup has been working in international marketing and business development for more than two decades. He combines a profound knowledge of both consumer and business-to-business marketing and strategy in very different cultural contexts. He joined the aqua feed manufacturer BioMar in 2007 taking responsibility for the marketing area first in the Continental Europe Region and subsequently as Global Marketing Director. Since 2016 he holds the position as Vice President Emerging Markets with the responsibility of driving BioMar’s new business activities in South & Central America and in Asia including production units in Ecuador, Costa Rica, and China.
 
Jose Antonio Camposano

CNA Ecuador
Camposano is the Executive President of the National Chamber of Aquaculture of Ecuador, private institution acting on behalf of the Ecuadorian shrimp industry, the second most important exportable product of the non-oil supply of Ecuador registering more than $ 2.5 billion in exports and sustaining nearly 200,000 jobs. Camposano has been the link between the production sector, government and NGOs for almost seven years, aiming to promote a sustainable business model in which aquaculture generates growth and well-being for the local community in his country. He was selected by IntraFish as one of the 100 most influential seafood executives in 2014 and member of the 40 Under 40 Ranking of top young seafood leaders in 2015. He has been a speaker at various international forums, such as the World Bank, the FAO, the Business Association for Latin-American Studies in the US, Latin America and Asia.
 
Jerry Chang

Jerry Chang is a successful entrepreneur with over 20 years experience in seafood processing, marketing and distribution in China and North America. Mr. Chang has a B.S degree from Ocean University of China where he holds affiliated professorship and a M.S. degree from School of Fisheries, University of Washington. Mr. Chang was recently awarded as “Top Ten Most Influential Seafood Leader in China” By Seafood Guide.
 
Avrim Lazar

Avrim Lazar is a globally recognized policy and communications coach who assists diverse groups in identifying and pursuing common interests. He guides the successful navigation of the government, civil society and business interface and helps make whole cloth of social, economic, and environmental interests. His current projects are concentrated on energy, forestry and fish farming in Europe, North America and South America. He is the founder and convener of the Global Salmon Initiative which is widely recognized as the model for progress in aquaculture sustainability. He was CEO of the Forest Products Association of Canada and led that industry to global recognition for environmental leadership. He has coached the Brazilian forest industry, the north American pipeline industry and the Canadian energy industry on environmental matters. Mr Lazar and has held senior policy positions in the government of Canada in the Ministries of Justice, Agriculture, Environment and Human Resource Development. During this period he was responsible for national policy in areas as diverse as climate change, biodiversity, sustainable agriculture, child poverty, employment insurance and labor force training. He holds a Bachelor of Science from McGill University and a PhD from the University of Ottawa.

John Liu is the Key Account Senior Manager of Win-Chain, which is the global sourcing center for fresh food serving retail and wholesale channels in and out of the Alibaba Ecosystem. John’s global trading experience in China and Asia spans over many consumer goods categories including automobile, oil and gas equipment, food and beverage, personal care products and electronics. As a serial entrepreneur, John has a lot of experience in helping startup companies to grow. At Win-Chain, John is working with top suppliers in the fresh categories from all around the world and building an efficient supply chain business format that connects customers and suppliers. John holds a B.S. of Petroleum Engineering and a B.A. of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
